What is an airbrush tan?
The airbrush tan is applied with a high-powered professional airbrush. I only use professional tanning solutions and there are different shades to suit your preference. Your whole body, including your face will be airbrushed with the tanning solution. It only takes a few minutes to dry on your skin and the color difference is immediate.
One of the active ingredients in your spray tan is Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) which causes a chemical reaction with the amino acids on the outermost top layer of skin to produce a bronzed tan - much like the sun does but without UVA and UVB damage to the skin. With absolutely no sun exposure at all, the tan usually lasts between about 7 days. The way the tan fades and the length of time it lasts is dependent on how each person naturally loses his or her skin. Proper maintenance is key. Regular moisturizing is essential to prolong the duration of the tan. Booking for a "double application" ensures an even longer lasting and more natural looking tan. The solution has a bronzer to give you immediate results. It will wash off in the shower and your new tan will be underneath.
